Our school vision has been carefully arrived at to support all of our community to thrive:

Our values underpin our curriculum.
This is what our children, families and staff wish to promote and uphold through our six values:
LOVE - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 “Love is patient, love is kind”
God loves us and we should love ourselves, friends, family and neighbours. We should be encouraged to take care of people and be loving in what we say and what we do. We believe love is about trust, respect, sharing and creating a bond. We should understand and respect differences.
IMAGINATION - Romans 12:2 "Do not be shaped by this world. Instead be changed within by a new way of thinking.”
God made the world to be a place of beauty and wonder. We encourage each other to be curious, confident and prepared to explore the world. We should be encouraged to think big and think differently.
GRATITUDE - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - “Be thankful in all circumstances”.
Gratitude is a positive response to God’s goodness and grace. We encourage each other to be thankful and recognise the efforts of others. We believe in cultivating gratitude in each other so we can be more joyful in ourselves and with others.
HOPE - Psalm 31:24 “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord”.
God gives us eternal hope. Hope is about resilience, perseverance and optimism. We believe that hope comes from faith and belief. We support each other to have the confidence and belief in ourselves to follow our dreams and shine even when life is challenging.
TOGETHERNESS - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively”.
We believe togetherness is about fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. It is important in our school, the village, and the church that everyone works together towards common goals. We are encouraged to support one another and be considerate. We promote inclusion and an understanding of the role we play in the world around us, emphasising the importance of collective effort and shared responsibilities as members of the global community.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE - Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
We believe that every child and adult in our school community carries a unique light within them—a light made up of their gifts, passions, kindness, and potential. To let your light shine means to live with courage, compassion, and confidence, using your talents to make a difference in the world around you. We encourage each other to shine brightly, not for recognition, but to bring hope, joy, and inspiration to others. In doing so, we reflect the light of God’s love and help others to shine too.
